[ That message goes straight to his voicemail, and Steve picks it up after five minutes. Goes to call the number because he sure as hell knows that voice. ]

Clint. Good to hear from you. Was just about to go to the Dome if I don't catch you again here at the Blocks.

[Look. Listen. Wanda hasn't judged him for it. He doesn't hear any kind of judgement in Steve's voice. But he still gets that momentary dropped stomach feeling like he's in trouble. Or that he's been caught doing something Deeply Disappointing.

He keeps his voice casual.]

( all wanda knows is that room 203 and 202 are booked by her unusual rooming arrangement, so she wonders if steve went for the same floor or elsewhere. )

I did mention I'd be staying nearby and I meant it.

I'm staying in 310. [ On the upper floor, on the other side of where her room is. ]

210 has no water while 209's roof is leaking. [ Or else he would've moved there, closer to Wanda. ]

( that's nearby, but it's not so close that it'd feel like he's encroaching on her space. steve was always good about that—giving her space while also reminding her that he's close by. )

[ Oh, someone delivered something on their doorstep? Huh. To be fair, they can’t be absolutely certain Fury isn’t actually here. This planet is a vast place. He could be in one of the other strongholds. ]

What is it? And what’s on the package?

It's a fluorescent yellow poncho. Wasn't boxed or wrapped. The note says "Stay dry -Fury"

[Bucky doesn't know the man well enough to know whether that's standard Fury level cryptic, or if Steve had known he was here and they're running some kind of mission, or if it's even normal for him to sign his name off on this kind of thing right out in the open.]

[Bucky is a terrible gift-giver. It is known. For Christmas, Steve gets a gremlin bell for his bike, a new pair of riding gloves that might need to wait until the weather gets a little warmer, and a pack of five navy blue boxer-briefs.

They're wrapped together in a lumpy-looking package. There's no note, but obviously it's from Bucky unless someone broke into their room while they were both out.]

The earliest I go is around 4 in the morning. But I usually do it at around 5.
